University Heights Academy brought home a top 10 team finish Monday at the Girls’ Region 2 Golf Tournament at the Central City Country Club.
Sisters Rheagan and Conlee Lindsey both tied for 22nd place with identical scores of 96. They both shot a 42 on the front nine and a 54 on the back nine.
Riley Johnson shot a 117 for UHA, followed by Jessah Hayden’s 119 and Lexi Johnson’s 122.
Owensboro Catholic’s Emma Payne repeated as region champion with a round of 75, which was one shot better than Apollo’s Macey Brown.
As a team, UHA totaled 428 points, which was good for a ninth place finish in the team race. Madisonville took the team title with a score of 328.
