The Todd County Central Lady Rebels picked up their second win in their last three matches Monday evening. The Lady Rebels hit the road to Butler County and returned home with a 2-0 win over the Lady Bears.
The shutout win, which was their second in the last three matches, marked the third win in a row that the Lady Rebels’ defense had blanked an opponent. The match was a bit more of a battle than the first time the two teams met in Elkton, when Todd Central picked up a 10-0 mercy rule win over the Lady Bears.
With the win, Todd County Central improves to 9-10-0 on the season. The Lady Rebels will try to get to .500 for the season when they host Christian County Tuesday night in the regular season finale.
