Struggling to find the goal has been a problem for much of the season for the Todd Central Rebels. It turned out to be an issue again Monday evening.
The Rebels hit the road to make the trek to Butler County. After the two teams played to a 3-3 tie earlier in the season in Elkton, the Bears upended the Rebels 6-1 Monday evening on the pitch in Morgantown.
Todd County’s goal was scored by Luis Herrera, off an assist by Yoni Cajija. The goal was Herrera’s 4th of the season.
Defensively, Mason Chavez finished the night with four saves in goal for the Rebels.
The Rebels drop to 1-14-2 on the season. They close out the regular season Thursday night when they host Warren East.
