It was a tough next to last home game of the season Thursday night for the Trigg County Lady Wildcats volleyball team. The Lady Wildcats hosted Murray and were upended by the Lady Tigers in straight sets. The loss was the 4th straight for Trigg County.
Murray opened the match fast and never looked back.
The Lady Tigers took the opening set 25-12 to go up one set to none. Murray came right back at the Lady Wildcats in the second get, taking it by the same 25-12 score.
Murray then picked up the pace even more in the third set. The Lady Tigers roared through the set 25-9 to close out the match.
Trigg County falls to 1-21 on the season with the loss. The Lady Wildcats are now off until October 15th, when they will host the Todd Central Lady Rebels.
