On a night when many area boys’ soccer teams are playing their final regular-season game, the Fort Campbell Falcons welcomed a stiff test to Fryar Stadium on Thursday night.  The Ohio County Eagles, sporting a record of 13-6-2, made their way onto post and came away with a 4-1 victory over the Falcons.

Fort Campbell’s Jhonny Paniagua’s goal in his final game on his home field wasn’t enough, with Jaren Ball and Jonathan Young each scoring twice for the Eagles.

The Falcons end the regular season on a six-game slide, heading into the postseason with a 4-13-2 record.  The 4th-seeded Falcons wil square-off with top-seeded UHA in next week’s 8th-District tournament.  The Blazers had their way in two meetings this season, winning 7-1 and 11-1.
