Former Caldwell County standout Eli Pepper had a big game on Friday even though his Glasgow Rocks fell to the Sheffield Sharks in the British Basketball League.
Pepper was 6 of 8 from 3-point range and finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals but the Rocks dropped an 84-68 decision.
Pepper and the Rocks played in the British Basketball All-Star Championships in London on Sunday, picking up a win over the Newcastle Eagles in their first game, but then dropping their next two contests to fall short of the semifinal round.
According to the BBL, the All-Star Championships feature multiple 12-minute games, an All-Star 5-point line and the Golden Buzzer Power Play, making the event a non-stop afternoon of fast-paced basketball action.
Pepper and the Glasgow Rocks are scheduled to play at home next Sunday, hosting the Leicester Riders.
