Christian County won three games at the Toyota of Hopkinsville Western Kentucky Smackdown over the weekend and advanced to the championship of the silver bracket.
The Lady Colonels began play Friday with a three-set win over Todd County Central. Christian County dropped the first set 25-17 but rebounded to win the second set 25-18 and the third set 15-13.
Fort Campbell was next up for Christian County, and the Lady Colonels responded with a 25-18, 25-21 win over the Lady Falcons.
On Saturday, the Lady Colonels split their first two matches. They lost in straight sets to Apollo before rallying to beat Crittenden County.
The Lady Colonels played University Heights in the silver pool championship. Christian County took the first set 25-23. UHA came back to win the final two sets 25-15 and 15-10.
Christian County (11-18) returns to action Tuesday at Madisonville.
