The Fort Campbell volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over visiting Trigg County on Thursday night, snapping a five-game skid to finish the regular season at 5-19 overall.
The Lady Falcons claim their second win of the season over the Lady Wildcats, posting scores of 25-13, 25-9 and 25-14.
The 4th-seeded Lady Falcons open postseason play on Tuesday against top-seeded UHA, after dropping both regular-season meetings 0-3 to the Lady Blazers.
Trigg County enters the 5th-District tournament on a six-game losing run, meeting Livingston Central for a shot at top-seeded Crittenden County in the championship match. The Lady Wildcats only managed to take one set in two losses to the Lady Cardinals this season.
