Christian County All-State softball player Hope Jones has announced she will continue her playing career at Murray State University. Jones made the announcement on social media Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Colonel senior hit .364 last year with five home runs and 17 RBIs in helping Christian County win the district title. She added 12 doubles and 11 stolen bases while playing both the infield and outfield.
Jones was a member of the All-Region Team and earned a spot on the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association All-Academic Team as a junior.
She will join former Lady Colonel teammate Tyler Shemwell who will be a Murray State freshman outfielder in the spring.
