The Christian County boys’ and girls’ cross-country teams took their turns on the soggy course in the Region 1 AAA meet at Marshall County High School on Saturday, with the boys finishing 11th with 331 points and an average time of 22:56.
Junior David Krzywada (21:50.23) was 63rd, followed closely by freshman Perry Cunningham (21:59.95) and junior Keon Dillard (22:58.61) in 64th and 65th, respectively. Freshman Logan Carter (23:43.24) was 69th, sophomore Logan Moore (24:11.46) 70th, senior Gage Gobel (27:59.29) 74th, and freshman Conner Rinehart (30:33.46) finished 76th.
A couple of middle-schoolers led the girls, with 8th-grader Daihla Price (28:39.72) coming in at 61st, followed by 7th-grader Lillian Westerfield (28:52.64) in 62nd, and sophomore Aly Adler (32:09.09) finishing 66th. With only three runners, the girls didn’t qualify for a team score.
