Hopkinsville’s Allison Wood earned a 6th-place finish at Saturday’s Region 1 AAA meet at Marshall County with a 21:25.91, after finishing in the same spot in last year’s region race.
Afterward, she talked about navigating the muddy course in an effort to make a return trip to the state meet.
