At last season’s McCracken County Mustang Madness one of the most impressive players I saw play was 6-9 Isaiah Jackson of Spire Academy. He had multiple skills to go with his size to make him unique even though playing on the loaded Spire Academy team he sometimes got a bit overlooked despite being a top 20 player in the 2020 recruiting class.
Jackson now has over 20 scholarship offers and the five-star forward has narrowed his choices to Kentucky, Syracuse, and Alabama. He will make his official decision on Nov. 16. He also holds offers from Michigan State, Memphis, Louisville, Michigan, Auburn, Mississippi State, Indiana and Xavier.
I can remember watching him knock down 3-pointers but also run the floor extremely well, soar above the rim and throw down crowd-pleasing dunks.
He will play for Waterford Mott High School in Michigan this year — his fourth school in four years.
