Trigg County alum Ethan Dossett ran the final race of his college cross country career Saturday, representing Kentucky Wesleyan College at the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional at Angel Mounds Park in Evansville.
Dossett finished in 206th and was the sixth runner across the line for the Panthers, who finished 27th as a team. A week earlier, Dossett was the second Panther across the line in 35th place. He covered the 8K course (4.97 miles) in 26:06 as KWC finished seventh at the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Championship in Ohio.
Dossett ran in the top 2-3 for KWC all season, finishing 22nd at the Fast Cats Classic and was the No. 2 runner for the Panthers in three of their six meets this season.
