Aaliyah Hampton came off the bench to score 22 points in her first game for Berea College Saturday against Asbury. She got her first collegiate start Tuesday and showed her debut was no fluke as she poured in 28 points to lead Berea to a 65-58 win over Sewanee.
The Christian County High School alum was 7-of-15 from the field and 14-of-19 at the free throw line in leading the Mountaineers for the second straight game. She is 23-of-30 (76%) from the charity stripe in her first two games.
Berea (2-0) will host Campbellsville-Harrodsburg Saturday and Transylvania Tuesday.
