A tough day Saturday for the Heritage Christian Warriors during the first weekend of the basketball season. The Warriors dropped a pair of games in the KCAA Tipoff Classic in Somerset.
The Warriors lost a tough battle with Lakeside Christian 55-51. Lakeside led 21-17 at halftime, but Heritage rallied to the game at 31 after three quarters. Lakeside hit 14-of-17 free throws in the fourth quarter to stave off any Warrior rally.
