HCA lost to region foe Bethel 68-41 in the opener. Bethel used a 21-7 second quarter run to build a 35-18 lead at halftime. Heritage wasn’t able to sustain any offense due to committing 27 turnovers in the contest and shooting 7-of-17 at the foul line.
Triston Folz led the Warriors with nine points, and Elijah Britton added eight points. David Crunk came off the bench to score seven points and record seven steals.
Frank Pangilinan led Bethel with 19 points.
A slow start doomed HCA in the nightcap as they fell to Assumption Academy 37-32. The Warriors fell behind 14-4 after one quarter and trailed 18-8 at halftime.
