Cathryn Brown scored 19 points as Lyon County’s girls picked up their first win of the season on Friday.
Rose Smith added 12 points as the Lady Lyons ran past Livingston Central 54-32 in 5th District action in Smithland.
Lyon, now 1-2 overall and 1-0 in district play, held Livingston to single digits in each quarter.
The Lady Lyons led 14-8 after one quarter, then stretched the advantage to 35-17 at halftime.
It was 48-23 through three quarters.
Calista Collins had six points and nine rebounds for the Lady Lyons.
Lauren Wring had half of Livingston’s points, finishing with 16 in the Lady Cardinals’ first game of the season. Kerah Davidson had five points and seven rebounds.
The squads will square off again Jan. 10 in Eddyville.
