Trigg County brought home a seventh place finish at the Harpeth Invitational Wrestling Tournament in Tennessee Saturday.
Colin Stevens (170) was one of two Trigg wrestlers to post a 4-0 record on the day, earning the Outstanding Wrestler award based on the coaches’ vote.
Andrew Hendricks (220) also went 4-0 on the day, pinning all four of his opponents.
Timmy Cannon took third place in the 113-pound class, with five other Trigg wrestlers – Thomas Bruce (120), Tyler Harris (138), Dominic Lee (145), Anthony Hall (152), and Ty Saez (Hvywt.) – all posted 1-2 records in the tournament.
Trigg County will be back in action Saturday at the McGavock, Tenn. Big Red Truck Invitational.
