Hopkinsville freshman Daisjaun Mercer played beyond his years for the Tiger football team this season, tying the program’s single-season interception mark and helping them to an 8-4 record.
Now it appears that confidence carries over to the basketball court as well, with Mercer coming through in the clutch with 8 fourth-quarter points to propel the Tigers to a 63-46 victory over Clarksville Northwest on Tuesday night.
After the game, Mercer discussed the big win over the Vikings.
