The Trigg County Arrowcats opened their 2019-20 archery season with a fourth place finish at their own winter warmup tournament Saturday at Wildcat Gym.
Audrey Smith, who qualified for the KHSAA state tournament last year, picked up where she left off with a score of 293 to claim the top score out of 134 female shooters and tops among the Arrowcats. Only Murray’s Nicholas Welch (297) shot a higher score on the day.
Kole Stagner had the top male score for Trigg County with a 287.

As a team, Trigg County finished in fourth place with 3,225. Graves County was first (3,423) followed by Hopkinsville (3,311) and Murray (3,274).
Trigg County’s Rivver Knott won the girls’ middle school shoot with a score of 281. Trevor Hoy was the top male shooter with a score of 270. Trigg Middle finished second with a score of 3,186.
