Caldwell County’s girls went to Muhlenberg County on Saturday looking for a signature early-season win over one of the top teams in the 3rd Region.
The Lady Tigers gave the Lady Mustangs a battle for a half before Muhlenberg pulled away after the break for a 70-47 victory.
Caldwell head coach Chuck Mitchell said there were some positives in the contest, and that his team found some things it still needs to work.
