Bahr Leads Colonel Swimmers with Pair of Top-Two Finishes

Christian County’s Dalton Bahr brought home a pair of top-two finishes in the pool at a three-team meet Thursday at the Central City Convention Center.

Bahr won the 100-yard freestyle in 57.11 seconds and was second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:14.27

Both of Christian County’s teams finished third behind Hopkinsville and Muhlenberg County.

BOYS

Dalton Bahr – 1^st in the 100-yard freestyle (57.11); 2^nd in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:14.27)

Fernando Montes – 5^th in the 200-yard freestyle (3:12.15)

The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Dalton Bahr, Steven McAskill, Fenando Montes, and Peyton Epley – 2^nd in 5:37.99

The 200-yard freestyle relay team of Dalton Bahr, Steven McAskill, Fernando Montes, and Tyler Holden – 3^rd in 2:27.41

GIRLS

Reese Dexter – 4^th in the 200-yard freestyle (2:45.58)

Sophie Fowler – 4^th in the 100-yard freestyle (1:04.07); 4^th in the 100-yard backstroke (1:18.83)

The 400-yard free relay team of Ashia Rogers, Aaliyah Gilbert, Dakota Ming, and Sadie Bahr was 2^nd (6:33.82)
