Hopkinsville swept first place in the three-team swim meet that included Muhlenberg County and Christian County Thursday at the Central City Convention Center.
Hopkinsville had a total of eight swimmers take first place in their events. Swimmers who finished in the top five were:

Both Hoptown teams took first place. The Lady Tigers scored 137.5 points, which was 50 more than second place Muhlenberg County. The guys totaled 77 points to beat Muhlenberg County by 12 points. Their combined score of 214.5 points was enough for first place and a 62-point win over second place Muhlenberg County.
