Fort Campbell had two female wrestlers reach the podium at the Garner-Dyer Invitational Saturday in Tullahoma, Tenn.
September Snyder had Fort Campbell’s top finish on the day with a third place podium visit in the 103-pound division. After dropping her first match, she rebounded to win her next four matches – three of them by pin.
Katie Guevara-Maldonado brought home a fourth place finish with five wins on the day in the 112-pound class. She won two of her matches by one-point decisions. To earn 13 points.
Ella Plumb won three matches in the 125-pound class and advanced to the consolation semifinals. She earned the team 10 points.
Fort Campbell scored 44 points to finish 10th out of the 20 teams in the tourney. They were the only Kentucky school in the event.
