Playing against one of the favorites to win the First Region, Todd County Central could never get going in a 57-11 loss to Marshall County in the first round of the Russellville Food Bank Classic Thursday.
The Lady Rebels didn’t score more than two points in three of the four quarters as Marshall County built a 42-4 lead at halftime.
Hannah Langhi was the only Lady Marshal to score in double figures with 10 points. A total of 11 Marshall County players scored in the contest.
Emoni Fort led Todd County with seven points. Shelby Johnson and Ciara Collins had the other two buckets for the Lady Rebels.
Todd County will play the loser of Friday’s Hart County/Butler County game Saturday at 4:30.
