Hopkins County Central brought home a top-five finish Saturday at the KHSAA State Dance Competition in Louisville.
The High Voltage dance team finished fifth in the hip hop small division out of 30 teams. Their score was 83.35, which was .13 behind fourth place Henderson County. DuPont Manual won the division with a score of 85.65.
The High Voltage team also finished 12th in the small pom category out of 25 teams with a score of 72.18.
Team members are Kaitlyn Adams, Ganessa Arnett, Alexis Brown, Lillian Bryant, Danielle Gamble, Abby Hall, Nevaeh Howell, Olivia Hulsey, Bailey Lusk, Moriah Manning, Kortney McVay, Natalie Nickelson, Bethany Simms, Kiyah White, and Avery Whitehair.
Coaches are Vickie Fox and Ashley Mitchell.
