The Madisonville Lady Maroons will head off to Christmas being on the basketball “good list” for the first part of the season. The Lady Maroons capped off the pre-Christmas schedule in “perfect” fashion, taking down Marshall County 61-49 in the title game of the Food Bank Holiday Classic at Russellville High School.
Over the three days of the tournament, the Lady Maroons picked up wins over Adair County, Clarksville Northeast, Russellville, and Marshall County. None of the wins was by fewer than 12 points, that coming in the title game win over the Lady Marshals.
Three Lady Maroons made the all tournament team, those being Camryn LaGrange, Courtney Peyton, and Lindsey Peyton.
Madisonville heads off to unwrap presents with a record of 8-0. After Christmas, the Lady Maroons head off to the beach to take part in the Marlin Holiday Classic in Panama City.
