Looking to end a six-game losing streak, Todd County Central will look to get back on track with three games this weekend at the Beef O’Brady’s/Danny Annis Memorial Tournament at Ohio County.
The Rebels (2-6) will open play Friday with a pair of games. They play host Ohio County (7-1) in the first game of the day at 9 and will come back and play Henderson County (4-4) at six.
On Saturday, Todd County will play Edmonson County (2-7) at two.
The Rebels played and lost to Ohio County 68-54 at Muhlenberg County last year. They haven’t beaten the Eagles since 2009.
They also lost to Henderson County last year 73-45 at Allen County-Scottsville. Todd’s meeting with Edmonson County is their first since a 2011 win over the Wildcats in 2011.
Todd County is looking to win two games at a post-Christmas tournament since 2013 at Webster County. The Rebels will be looking to gain some momentum for the new year with a pair of district games in the first week of the 2020 part of the schedule.
