Lady Wildcats Overwhelm Lake County 48-28

Trigg County moved into the championship game of the CCA Lady Warrior Classic with a 48-28 win over Lake County, Tenn Friday in Paducah.

Trigg jumped out to a 13-3 lead early and maintained a double-digit lead for the majority of the contest.  While Trigg struggled to piece together consistent stretches of offense, their defense held Lake County to 15-percent shooting from the field and scored 14 points off 24 Lady Falcon turnovers.

Adri Phillips led Trigg County with 15 points and six rebounds.  Marleigh Reynolds scored 13 points and pulled down 13 rebounds for her second double-double of the tournament.  Rylee Bush had nine rebounds and five steals to go with her six points.

Jakayla Hill led Lake County (4-6) with 19 points.

Trigg County will play Lyon County in the championship game Saturday night at 7:30. Trigg County will be looking to win their first holiday tournament title since 2012.
