
Dawson Springs held off a late rally to grab a 58-57 win over Cumberland County Saturday in the final game of the Greenwood Lady Gator Classic in Bowling Green.
Brooklyn Clark poured in 35 points for the Lady Panthers. She knocked down six 3-pointers in the game and scored 10 of Dawson Springs’ 12 fourth quarter points.
The Lady Panthers were able to survive a huge free throw disparity in the contest. Dawson hit 9-of-12 shots at the charity stripe, while Cumberland County was 26-of-41.
Denisha Randolph hit two of Dawson Springs’ eight 3-pointers to finish with eight points.
Dawson Springs dropped a 62-34 decision to Bath County Saturday. Clark had 12 points, and Randolph added nine points.
Dara Day and Ashtyn Barrett both scored 16 points for Bath County (4-9).
Dawson Springs will host Caldwell County Thursday in a 7th District contest at the Panther Pit.
