
The Fort Campbell Falcons fell to Portland, Tenn. 70-48 Monday in the seventh-place game of the Zaxby’s Holiday Tournament in Clarksville.
It was the fifth-straight loss for the Falcons, who opened the season 5-1.
Fort Campbell was tied with the Panthers 15-15 after one quarter, but Portland used a 23-11 advantage in the second period to get to the break with a 38-26 lead.
Portland led 56-40 through three quarters.
The Panthers held a big advantage on the glass in the contest, outrebounding Fort Campbell 38-17.
Cameron Pratt led the Falcons with 19 points while Aaron Hall had 13.
Portland got 21 points apiece from Mitchell Eagle and Darius Bell.
