More than 70 girls turned out Monday afternoon to take part in the Fort Campbell Girls’ Wrestling Invitational. The host Lady Falcons had a solid day in the event, finishing in 5th place with 88 total points.
Tullahoma High School took first place with 168 points. Lebanon High School (Indiana) finished in 2nd place with 101. Dickson County High School and Clarksville High School ended up in a tie for 3rd place with 93 points.
Individually for the Lady Falcons, Katie Guevara and Natalie Britton both won their respective weight classes. Ella Plumb and September Snyder finished 2nd in their weight classes. Sharon Aja and Jessie Bradshaw came in with 6th place finishes.
A total of 14 girls’ teams participated in the event.
