Recovering from an early season injury has limited the collegiate minutes for a former University Heights Academy Blazer. Xavier freshman KyKy Tandy has only seen action in seven of the Musketeers first 14 games due to the injury.

Through the first seven games of his college career, Tandy is averaging 3.7 points and 1.4 rebounds per game in just under 11 minutes per game on the court.

Tandy’s high scoring game came on December 4, when he reached double figures with 10 points in a game against Green Bay. Tandy also had three rebounds in that game for a season high. A mark that he would equal on December 18 against Western Carolina.

Xavier is 11-3 overall, and 0-1 in the Big East. The Musketeers return to action January 5 when they host St. John’s.
