
The Hopkinsville girls’ basketball team struggled to get its offense going in losses to Dresden, TN and Calloway County at the Murray Bank Tip-Off Classic over the weekend, but snapped a three-game skid with a 69-61 win over Paducah Tilghman to close the tournament.
One of the bright spots for the Lady Tigers was the play off the bench of senior JaKiyah Hinton. After scoring 8 points and helping control the backboard in the win over the Blue Tornado, Hinton talked about what led to the improved offensive performance.
