Ware Elevating Game in Sophomore Season at Jacksonville State

A former Christian County Colonel continues to progress in his second season playing college basketball for Jacksonville State. Sophomore De’torrion Ware has seen his numbers climb, as he has already nearly doubled his time on the court for the Gamecocks this season over last season.

Through the December portion of the schedule, Ware is averaging 12.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Ware’s points per game average is more than double what he averaged for the 2018-2019 season. His high point game this season came on December 28, when he scored 26 points against Carver. Ware hit 7 of 11 from behind the arc in the contest.

Ware has scored in double figures seven times so far in the 2019-2020 season.

Ware’s high in rebounds came against Evansville, when he pulled down 11 rebounds in just 18 minutes of action.

Jacksonville State is 5-8 on the season, and opens OVC play January 2nd on the road at Morehead
State.
