Former Fort Campbell Lady Falcon basketball player Brianna Smith is making an impact at the college level.
Smith is a senior at St. Mary of the Woods College after spending her first two seasons at Rend Lake College. Smith is averaging 4.4 points and 6.2 rebounds for the Pomeroys, who compete in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA).
Smith averaged 13 points and 10 rebounds in her senior season and was among the top rebounders in the state. She is the only Fort Campbell girls’ basketball player to sign a college letter in the last 18 years.
After earning an Associate’s degree at Rend Lake, Smith is majoring in education at SMWC.
