Dee Cain, a former Caldwell County standout, was one of three Tigers to make the trip to Dallas with the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers for the First Responder Bowl.
WKU pulled out a 23-20 win over Western Michigan on a 52-yard field goal on the final play of the game.
Cain was a junior on this year’s team. A pair of freshmen, Oliver Parker and Mitchell Harralson, were redshirted this season by the Hilltoppers.
