Fort Campell had three wrestlers bring home top-five finishes Saturday at the Rossview Girls’ Wrestling Invitational in Clarksville.
September Snyder finished second in the 103-pound class. She won her first three matches by pin before losing to Destiny Shelton of Tullahoma in the second round.
Katie Guevara finished third in the 112-pound class. She lost in the semifinal but bounced back to take down Taylor County’s Ava Sweet with a second round pin.
Ella Plumb finished fifth in the 119-pound class, defeating Clarksville’s Grace McIntyre by pin in the fifth place match.
As a team, Fort Campbell finished ninth out of 27 schools with 116 points. Host school Rossview won the event with 311 points.
