Greenwood hit 11 3-pointers and outscored Todd County Central 34-13 in the fourth quarter on their way to an 84-47 win over the Rebels Tuesday in Elkton. After two wins to start the season, Todd County had dropped 11 straight.
Every time Todd County would make a surge to get close to the Gators, Greenwood would drop in a 3-pointer to keep the Rebels at bay. Four different Gators hit five 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as Greenwood put the Rebels away for their 16th straight win over Todd County dating back to 2001.
Austin Rager led Todd County Central with nine points. Kimahri Briggs added eight points.
Greenwood got 18 points from Ben Carroll.
Todd County Central will host Franklin-Simpson Friday in a 13th District matchup.
