Lyon County’s girls trailed by just three points late in the third quarter but saw Christian County stretch the final margin to 66-42 Monday night in Hopkinsville.
Lady Lyon head coach Jeff Doom said his team ran out of gas late, but pointed to turnovers and missed free throws as the main culprits for his squad.
Lyon made 28 miscues and hit just 10 of 21 shots from the stripe.
