The Hopkinsville Tigers went on the road Tuesday night to face 12-3 Madisonville-North Hopkins, with the Maroons’ size winning out in a 69-64 victory. The loss was the second-straight for the Tigers, while the Maroons got back on track after losses in their last two outings.
Afterward, Hopkinsville senior Josh Deeds, one of the Tigers charged with dealing with the Maroons’ big men, felt defense and rebounding were the reasons the Tigers came up short, but also saw some positives in his team’s performance.
