Hopkinsville football and track standout JeVon Leavell has announced he will continue his athletic and academic career at Lindsey Wilson College.
Leavell was an All Western Kentucky conference defensive back for the Tigers, earning the Defensive Back Award from the team at their postseason awards banquet. He had two takeaways during the season.
Leavell was also named to the Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Area Track and Field team after winning region titles in the 100 and 200-meter dashes last spring.
Lindsey Wilson is an NAIA school in Columbia, Ky that competes in the Mid-South Conference and has been nationally ranked over the past three seasons. The Blue Raiders were 12-1 and advanced to the 2019 NAIA FCS Playoff semifinals.
