
Courtney Peyton scored 22 points as the Madisonville-North Hopkins girls remained unbeaten on Thursday.
Camryn LaGrange and Lindsey Peyton each added 13 points for the Lady Maroons, who are 15-0 after picking up a 70-42 win at Dawson Springs.
Madisonville led wire-to-wire in the 7th District contest.
Dawson trailed 7-5 early and missed a 3-pointer that would have given it the lead.
Madisonville, 2-0 in the district, scored the next 11 points and went on to lead 20-7 after one quarter.
By halftime, the margin was 35-12.
Dawson (4-10 overall, 0-3 district) played on more even footing in the second half, even outscoring Madisonville 18-17 in the third quarter.
But the Lady Panthers could never put together a run to get back in the game.
Dawson Springs got 19 points from Brooklyn Clark and 14 from Denisha Randolph.
