Maroons Move to 14-3, Roll 90-61 at Caldwell

Madisonville-North Hopkins never trailed, and took over sole possession of first place in the 7th District standings with a 90-61 victory Friday night at Caldwell County.

Kenny White poured in 30 points as the Maroons improved to 14-3 overall (3-0 district) heading into a Top 10 showdown against Louisville Male Saturday night at Christian County.

Madisonville had three other players score in double figures as well. Ksuan Casey had 19 points, Keshawn Stone 16 and Marquise Parker 10.

Caldwell (6-8, 2-1) tried to keep the game competitive early, trailing 27-20 after one quarter. It was 43-30 at halftime, and Madisonville pulled away after the break for the 29-point triumph.

Tripp Branch led the Tigers with 19 points. Adarius Riley had 18 points and Jamarius Blaine 12, but Caldwell was mostly stymied inside against the taller Maroons.
