
After a back and forth first quarter ended in a 16-16 tie, the Lyon County boys’ basketball team found another gear in the second to open up a lead it would never relinquish in a 75-51 win over Livingston Central Friday night in Eddyville.
Sophomore Nick Whalin scored 7 of his 9 points in the decisive second quarter, and after the Homecoming win he said picking up the tempo made the difference for the Lyons.
