Christian County convincingly won the Region I Big School Wrestling Duals Saturday at Ohio County.
The Colonels won all five matches easily. They beat Apollo 64-12, Hopkinsville 70-10, McCracken County 61-12, Owensboro 72-6, and Ohio County 64-12.
Colonel wrestlers who were unbeaten on the day were Mason Kellett (132), Austin Grant-Hall (138), Jakerion Merritt (145), Landon Brumfield (145), Timmie Dunham (152), TyDarius Kelly (285), J.T. Adams (170), JaRi Campbell (106), Niko Bussell (220), and Dion Wills (220).
Wrestlers with just one loss on the day were Neal Aldridge (160), Cameron Coleman (182), Neal Aldridge (160), and Cameron Coleman (182).
Christian County will wrestle in the state duals Jan. 25 at Lindsey Wilson College.
