Fort Campbell’s wrestlers dropped a road match Tuesday at Henderson County, falling 48-26 in the head-to-head match.
Five Falcon wrestlers won their matches over Henderson County. They were Jesus Avila (195), Garrett Furnas (106), Brock Sharp (120), Thatcher Balfour (132), and Nevin Beagle (138).
Over the weekend, Fort Campbell finished 17th at the Franklin Rebel Invitational in Tennessee.
Jesus Avila was the lone Falcon to place, finishing second in the 195-pound class. He lost to Nolenville’s McKinley Wagner in an 8-5 decision in the title match.
Wrestlers who won two matches on the day were Thatcher Balfour (132) and Jarrett Barker (220).
