Caldwell County’s girls had their sights set on a trip to Richmond next week for the All A Classic state tournament. However, Lyon County upended the Lady Tigers 56-37 in Saturday’s regional championship game in Dawson Springs.
The Lady Tigers saw Jacey Jaggers return to action Saturday after missing the last three games. However, point guard Jada Boyd and freshman A.J. Hollowell both left Saturday’s game with knee injuries and did not return.
Caldwell head coach Chuck Mitchell said the main focus for his team moving forward will be to “get healthy.”
