
University Heights Academy finished seventh Saturday at the West Region Indoor Track and Field Meet at the CFSB Center.
Tomas Duncan brought home a pair of second place finishes in the middle distances and was one of six guys to compete for the Blazers.
UHA’s finishes were:
Tomas Duncan – 2nd in the 1600-meter run (4:51.73); 2nd in the 3000-meter run (9:40.13)
Luke Shouse – 6th in the 800-meter run (2:24.43)
Elvin Wagner – 7th in the 400-meter dash (59.24)
Chase Hendricks – 7th in the 1600-meter run (5:37.87); 9th in the 800-meter run (2:33.02)
Connor Dill – 11th in the 400-meter dash (1:00.44)
Will Hancock – 12th in the 400-meter dash (1:02.34)
UHA finished seventh out of 14 teams with 23 points. Calloway County won the event with 67 points.
