The Lyon County Lady Lyons got the royal treatment Tuesday morning as they made their way through the halls of the school during an All-A state tournament send-off, before boarding a bus headed for Eastern Kentucky University. The Lady Lyons will meet West Carter Wednesday morning at McBrayer Arena to open play in the tournament.
Before he got behind the wheel to drive his team to Richmond, Coach Jeff Doom said if the Lady Lyons can duplicate their play against Caldwell County in the 2nd-Region All-A title game, they have as good a chance as anyone.
